Although it’s not required that home buyers have agent representation when having a home built, it is definitely a good idea to have someone on your side to assist with asking the right questions as well as helping navigate the different phases of the new build process. Be aware that many builders do REQUIRE that your agent be present with you when you tour a model home for the first time, or they will not allow you to be represented in the transaction. Although it’s not ideal, sometimes circumstances require that home shopping be done remotely without ever stepping foot into your new home until closing day. I work with home buyers who are needing to home shop remotely, to make sure they are knowledgable and comfortable every step of the way. I will work with you and your time zone needs to make sure we’re able to connect virtually for our consultation as well as for all home showings so that you’re able to ask questions and see things you want/need to in real time.
